Supply Orders - Domestic

  
Shipping supply orders domestically (within the United States) is your choice of either FedEx, UPS or USPS. Our preferred method is FedEx/UPS for tracking purposes. Insurance is included in the shipping cost up to $100. (not including freight cost) Insurance will be available for purchases above $100 for an additional charge by FedEx/UPS rates. Click here for the FedEx Ground transit map for more information on ground delivery times. Supplies may also be shipped with USPS. Choices may vary depending on delivery destination. Insurance is not included by USPS however it is offered for an additional charge by USPS rates.

Supply Orders - International


Shipping supply orders internationally (outside the United States) is available with USPS. Our preferred method is Priority Mail International (6 - 10 business days) for all orders. First Class Mail International (4 - 8 weeks) is also available, but not recommended. Insurance is not included by USPS however it is offered for an additional charge by USPS rates.

Live Fish Orders 

Shipping will processed with UPS Next Day Air (overnight) delivery. Package delivered by 10:30 am in most cases. Insurance is included in shipping cost up to $100. (not including freight cost) Insurance will be available for purchases above $100 for an additional charge by UPS rates. At this time, shipping is only available to the continental United States and Alaska. UPS will not guarantee overnight delivery to Hawaii. Sorry, but no international orders are for live fish at this time including Canada. There is no box, hot or cold pack charges. These are included with the cost of shipping.

Shipping Prep:
All fish will be isolated, and will not be fed for two days prior to shipping. This will ensure better, cleaner water, and will make it less stressful on the fish. Bags will be packed in pure oxygen, and double bagged for protection.

Shipping Rates:
Shipping rates for live fish depend on the size of the fish. The rate is also determined by the amount of fish per box. We do not charge shipping per fish. Check each individual fish listing for shipping price. The shipping rate is also a FLAT RATE. Price includes box, insulation, hot/cold pack, etc.  

Standard Box Rates:
We will fit as many fish as sensible into the appropriate box to give you the best value when shipping. Below are the prices for the flat rate:

Medium Box: 10"x10"x10" ($60.00 Flat Rate)
Large Box: 14"x14"x14" ($70.00 Flat Rate) 

Guidelines for fish per box:
4" and under
4 - 5 fish per box

5" - 6.5"
2 - 3 fish per box

7" - 9"
1 - 2 fish per box

9.5" and above
1 fish per box

NOTE: You MUST PICK FLAT RATE SHIPPING as your shipping option during checkout, or else you will be sent a separate invoice to be paid PRIOR to any fish being shipped.

We will ship your fish to you in the most sensible way possible. There are no additional shipping fees for extra fish per order.


Returns Policy

Live fish sales are final. No returns are accepted.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
